Shawn Knight has been a staple in Urban Radio for over two decades. Since his early beginnings in Chicago at Kennedy King College, Shawn got involved with their community radio station doing news segments, hosting his radio show, and becoming a Student Program Director. In 1997 Shawn got the opportunity of a lifetime when he was brought on as a weekend personality and promotions assistant. In 2001 Shawn moved over to crosstown rival as the overnight personality, and during his tenure there he eventually hosted middays and morning drives on their sister station WSRB Soul 106.3. Shawn also hosted afternoon drive on WTLC-AM 1310 The Light, weekends on WTLC-FM 106.7, and recently evening personality at WKZJ K92.7 in Columbus, Georgia. Outside of radio, Shawn Knight has served as a weekly TV contributor on WFLD Fox 32 Good Day Chicago, hosted numerous concerts and events for local elected officials, as well as for nonprofit organizations.
