The San Angelo Fire Department and the San Angelo Firefighters Association have been "Filling The Boot" since 1999. They will be at their usual 4 intersections encouraging you to make a donation by dropping cash/change in one of their boots.

The intersections are:
29th Street & North Bryant
Abe & Harris
Johnson Street and Knickerbocker Road
Sherwood Way & Avenue N

Firefighters will be at each of these intersections from 7:30-5:30 each day.

San Angelo Firefighters have raised more than 1/2 a million dollars in the past 17 years to help local families who are dealing with neuromuscular diseases.

"Everyone wins during the Fill the Boot Campaign," according to firefighter Mason Matthews. "San Angeloans give generously and graciously to a great cause, and the SAFD gets to mingle with the public we serve each day in a casual, uplifting manner. We're looking forward to sharing some smiles, passing out stickers to the kiddos, shaking some hands and, of course, collecting a lot of funds for MDA".

When you approach any of these 4 intersections, please protect our firefighters by slowing down, watching for the firefighters, and be aware of cars braking in front of you to donate.
