Officers arrived and located several witnesses standing around the victim, who was unconscious but breathing.  The 26-year-old male victim was transported to Shannon Medical Center by ambulance for treatment of incapacitating injuries.  He has since been released.

Further investigation revealed the victim was involved in an altercation with other male subjects inside a nearby private night club called ‘The Spot’, located at 2635 MLK.  One of the subjects was described as a young Hispanic male that was wearing a red cap and white shirt.  At some point, the parties exited the club and the altercation reportedly continued in the parking lot until one of the subjects got inside a vehicle and intentionally drove into the victim, causing the victim to become airborne.

Witnesses described the suspect vehicle as possibly a gray or light-colored, nineties model 4-door Nissan Infiniti.  The vehicle was said to have a broken headlight and passenger side window.
