Ariana Grande didn't even exist in the 1980s — she was born in 1993, baby! — but if she had, she may have sounded a little something like this. From the genius Canadian producer and remix artist who brought us the ridiculous '80s power ballad version of Justin Bieber's "What Do You Mean" comes Ari's "One Last Time," 1985-style.

On this one, Tronicbox reworks the sweeping 2015 My Everything single and transforms the original R&B-infused dancefloor banger into a synth-powered aerobic pop tune that sounds like something that Whitney Houston, Vanessa Williams or Madonna may have dropped on cassette 30 years ago — back when the hair was big and the girls just wanted to have fun.

With a zippy intro that sounds like it's off a VHS workout tape, and twinkly keyboard flourishes that punctuate each synthy discotheque beat, the remix is unapologetically cheesy, bouncy and like, totally perfect for blasting on the way to the mall. (Gotta get there before Contempo Casual closes, so hurry up!)

As for Grande, this isn't the first time the pop star and actress has gotten the '80s treatment: In a 2011 episode of Victorious, for a costume party sleepover her character Cat Valentine is given a makeover to look like a comedian from the era — shoulder pads, teased hair and all.

So, which modern pop artist would you like to hear Tronicbox remix next? Meghan Trainor? Nick Jonas? Selena Gomez? Let us know in the comments!
