San Angelo Police Conducting Death Investigation

Monday at 4:17 pm, Officers were dispatched to the south alley of the 2000 block of Lindell Ave for an unconscious subject.

Upon arrival, Officers located a deceased male subject in the alley.  Patrol Officers initiated an investigation and Detective James Hernandez with the Criminal Investigation Division responded.

During the course of the investigation, the subject was identified as 23 year old Edwardo Gavirio.  Justice of the Peace Howard responded to the scene and pronounced Gavirio deceased at 5:15pm with an approximate time of death of 4:00 pm.  An autopsy was ordered by JP Howard.

The initial call came in to the Police Department from a citizen who lived in the area.  At this time no foul play is suspected in the death of Gavirio.
