The San Angelo Police Department's Criminal Investigations Division identify burglary suspect and arrest a wanted felon.

Investigators with the San Angelo Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division have identified the man who burglarized the ODIN Firearms Store Tuesday morning as 29-year-old Joe Garrett Stanley of San Angelo.

On August 3, the San Angelo Police Department received a tip, which identified Stanley as the suspect who forced his way into the store located at 4119 South College Hills Blvd. and stole seven handguns.

A follow up investigation lead to a search of the Wildewood Apartments located at 3410 Wildwood.  During a search of one of the units, Investigators located a part of the uniform that matched the one worn during the burglary, which was recorded on surveillance video.

Police are actively searching for Stanley, who is believed to be armed and dangerous.  The Department strongly advises citizens not to make direct contact with Stanley and if you have any information about his whereabouts, call San Angelo Police at (325) 657-4315.

On August 4, 2016, at approximately 9:20 a.m., members of the San Angelo Police Department’s Street Crimes and Patrol Divisions, United States Marshals Service, US Customs and Border Protection, and Tom Green County Sheriff’s Office served a high-risk Arrest Warrant at a residence in the unit block of W. 31st Street in an attempt to locate wanted Felon, 28-year-old Rondrick Lamar Gray.

Gray was located in a bedroom and was taken into custody without incident.  Authorities transported Gray to the Tom Green County Jail where he was booked in on his outstanding Federal Parole Warrant.  Gray remains housed on a US Marshal Hold.
