On March 14, ahead of the release of their unplugged greatest hits album, Something Else—which will feature acoustic and stripped down versions of their most iconic singles, as well as three new songs—the Cranberries treated fans to a gorgeous, sweeping rendition of their massive 1993 track "Linger."

Featuring lush accompaniment from the Irish Chamber Orchestra, the updated version of "Linger" is a big, haunting ballad that recaptures the sparkle and dreamy atmosphere of the original song, but on a larger scale.

Speaking to Rolling Stone, vocalist Dolores O'Riordan said that "Linger" was "the first song she wrote after joining [the band]."

"Universally, I think its message remains timeless and relevant, never going out of fashion, yet never quite in fashion," she added.
