We find the oddest uses for things now and then don’t we. Just ask Alberta dentist Dr. Michael Zuk, who purchased a tooth, from the mouth of John Lennon, for over $32,000. The doc’s sister, artist Kirsten Zuk, has used a piece of the molar in a clay sculpture of the famed Beatle.The tooth was bought at a Stockport, England auction in November.

The man who could be called the father of American folk music, Pete Seeger, is certainly keeping busy. At age 93, Seeger is releasing not one, but two albums this fall.  Appleseed Records will issue ‘A More Perfect Union,’ which features 14 new songs written by Seeger with singer-songwriter Lorre Wyatt. Following the success of the 2010 and 2011 UK theater tours, ‘We Will Rock You,’ the Queen and Ben Elton musical, has announced that the show will embark on its first world arena tour to mark it’s tenth anniversary in 2013.

As previously announced, the classic Kiss album ‘Destroyer’ is getting the deluxe treatment. According to Bravewords,  a release date has finally been set for August 21. The 35th anniversary deluxe edition will be a two-CD set that will include rare material as well as a new remix of the album, done by original producer Bob Ezrin.
