Forbes Magazine has released their much publicized list of the Top 100 Most Powerful Celebrities, and ‘Captain Fantastic’ himself, Elton John, is the top-ranking classic rocker.

While John Mellencamp has arguably carved out his own place in rock n roll history, he took to the stage of the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame last night to induct one of his musical heroes, Donovan. Mellencamp shared amusing anecdotes relating to how he felt he took Donovan’s influence upon his music a little too liberally, while also regaling the audience of having toured with the musician for 40 show

The one and only Bruce Springsteen announced a new run of ten concerts earlier today including a three-night stand at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. Cities that will be greeting the Boss include Boston, Philadelphia and Chicago while Springsteen will also venture north to Canada for shows in Toronto and Moncton.
