The 2018 American Music Awards may have been largely uneventful and drama-free Tuesday night (October 9), but there may have been, unbeknownst to viewers, some behind-the-scenes tension between certain former band mates.

TMZ reports that the AMAs producers purposely seated Camila Cabello, who ended up next to Taylor Swift in the front row, far away from her former Fifth Harmony sisters Lauren Jauregui and Normani.

Production sources told the tabloid that it was "no accident" viewers didn't see the three women "anywhere near each other" last night.

"They weren't even within shouting distance of each other. Camila obviously had the best seat as she was nominated for multiple awards," TMZ wrote, adding there's "some leftover bad blood" between the three artists.

Camila, who abruptly exited the group in December 2016, ended up winning four awards last night: New Artist of the Year, Collaboration of the Year, Video of the Year and Favorite Pop/Rock Song.
