In the latest episode of Running Wild With Bear Grylls, the show where a survivalist takes celebrities into remote area of the wild to test their limits (and sanity), Friends star Courteney Cox was nearly pushed over the edge when Grylls attempted to feed her the rotting carcass of a sheep. Yum!

In a particularly stomach-turning scene on Monday night's episode (August 22), the unlikely duo come across a dead, drowned sheep while wading through the moors. Soon, the actress finds herself helping Grylls drag its body from the water towards shore.

"There's no reason... We're not helping anybody by taking this sheep out," she reasons with the adventurer, to which he responds, "We're helping ourselves, this is gonna be dinner!"

"Oh my God," Cox replies, visibly stunned as she emerges from the bog. "Wow. That is disgusting."

As Grylls gleefully asks the actress to grab his knife from his backpack, all the while commenting on its odor, the movie star continues to have a mild breakdown.

"Oh my God, I just don't understand what's happening," she laments.

Speaking to The Independent in Ireland, Grylls said, "I found this rotting sheep carcass and I thought, 'Oh, good, I can give her some lamb.' I stuck the knife in and maggots exploded out. The blood drained from her face."

Thankfully, Cox didn't end up munching on rotten sheep for dinner. Instead, she dined on maggots (or rather, one maggot) that were boiled inside the animal's detached scrotum, which Grylls had the actress help him remove.

Or don't. Yeah. Probably don't.
