Elsa Pataky commented on Liam Hemsworth and Miley Cyrus' relationship two months after their shocking split.

The actress, who was in Madrid to launch the Christmas campaign for the lingerie brand Women's Secret, was unexpectedly candid about her brother-in-law while speaking with reporters. Though Hemsworth is known for keeping a low profile, especially after the breakup, Pataky did not hold back when she was asked how he's doing.

“My brother-in-law, well... After a relationship that you've dedicated ten years to, he's a little bit down, but he's coping well, he’s a strong boy and he deserves the best, I think he deserves much better,” she said, according to Hola!.

She continued, “You always find support in your family, and he's joined at the hip with his brother, who has been there to give all the strength he needed."

Pataky is most likely referring to the time Hemsworth spent in Australia following his and Cyrus' separation announcement over the summer. At the time, a spokesperson for the couple said, “Ever-evolving, changing as partners and individuals, they have decided this is what's best while they both focus on themselves and careers."

Since their split, Hemsworth has been romantically linked to Dynasty actress Maddison Brown, however, they have yet to confirm their relationship. As for the "Slide Away" singer, she's moved on with Cody Simpson.
