Love is in the Air at the Abilene Zoo This Valentine's Day
“Love is in the air, everywhere you look around…” And if you’re “looking for love in all the right places,” look no further than the Abilene Zoo. This Valentine’s season, the zoo is offering two unique and playful experiences, Woo at the Zoo and Boops and Booties, to help you celebrate love in the wildest way possible.
Woo at the Zoo: A Valentine’s Date With a Wild Twist
Get ready to make great memories on Saturday, February 15, when the Abilene Zoo invites couples and families to celebrate love with a one-of-a-kind experience. The Woo at the Zoo. This awesome package includes:
Zoo admission
- A private 15-minute animal encounter (choose from rhino, reindeer, porcupine, secretary bird, sloth, or steenbok)
- Giraffe feeding
- Coffee or hot cocoa
For those looking for something extra special, the Giraffe Painting Experience allows guests to take home a unique work of art created by one of the zoo’s giraffes, (spots for animal encounters are limited, so booking early is recommended).
Boops and Booties: A Fun and Playful Valentine’s Day Surprise
Looking for a quirky way to send love (or a little mischief) this Valentine’s Day? The Boops and Booties digital card fundraiser is the perfect way to make someone smile.
- Boop e-card ($5): Features an adorable animal “booping” the camera with its nose.
- Booty e-card ($5): Features an animal’s backside, just for laughs.
E-cards will be sent on Valentine’s Day, February 14, and every purchase helps support the Abilene Zoo.
