SHOCKING: Disgusting Houston Mortuary Conditions Exposed in Viral Video
HOUSTON, Texas - A major investigation is underway at Richardson Mortuary on Brookfield Drive after at least 10 human bodies were found in a room with no air conditioning.
Police received a 911 call around 11:55 am reporting a customer was stabbed by a funeral home worker after they began taking video footage.
The customer's sister, Tamara McGruder, said she and her brother had grown suspicious as to where their mother's and uncle's bodies were being stored in the facility.
Upon further inspection, she opened a casket and reportedly found gnats on a deceased person's face.
A video captured by Davon McGruder has since gone viral on Facebook with over 20 million views, garnering thousands of angry comments from viewers, like the one below:
"If he didn’t post it people would say it’s a lie where is the receipts. He should have maybe tried to blur faces out but still it needs to be known that people’s bodies are being treated as such this is diabolical, people are spending thousands for there families bodies to be properly handled."
You can find the original video below, which still has not been pulled from Facebook, even though the nature is rather graphic.
Viewer discretion is advised.
If something doesn't feel right, chances are, it isn't.
This particular funeral home has received 14 complaints over the past 10 years. It's a shame it had to come to something like this.
The bodies have since been moved to refrigeration in other funeral homes. Attempts to reach the owner have been unsuccessful as of April 11th, according to ABC13.
