Backpack Bursts into Flames at Dallas Airport
Dallas Fort Worth International Airport in Dallas, Texas had a wild incident this week when a traveler's backpack suddenly burst into flames, causing a brief panic among passengers. You can check out a video of the incident by scrolling down this article.
We have to hand it to the guy because he never seems to lose his cool the entire time his bag is going up in flames. This guy has nerves of steel.
Airport officials believe the fire started because of a lithium-ion battery inside the backpack. These types of batteries, which power things like phones and laptops, can sometimes overheat and catch fire if they’re damaged or not stored properly.

We're a little concerned about the lack of folks stopping to help this man. This is in Texas, so where are all the friendly people rushing to his aid? It is an airport so there are obviously people from other states and other countries there, but come on! A guy in a cowboy hat at least walks over and expresses concern for a second. Thanks Tex!
