Henrietta Bearcats Get Epic Cowboy Sendoff Before Playoff Win
Man, what a great way to get pumped up before a playoff game! In the town of Henrietta, Texas, people really love their football team. And buddy, they showed it in a pretty unforgettable way on Friday.
Right before the Bearcats left for their playoff game last Friday, a bunch of local cowboys rode their horses alongside the team bus. They carried huge American and Henrietta flags and waved at everyone watching. The horses galluped right next to the bus, almost like they were part of the team’s escort.

Students on the bus were filming the whole thing and cheering as the riders kept pace down the street. For a lot of people in town, it felt like the perfect mix of Texas pride and team spirit.

Henrietta is a great little town. I actually lived there for about four years when I first started working in Wichita Falls. It's full of real down to down-to-earth, hard-working, blue-collar folks who remind me of the people I grew up with in my little town, Robinson, Texas.
The best part about all of this is that the Bearcats won their playoff game later that night. But honestly, that cowboy sendoff might be the part everyone remembers most.
