I'm with the alligator on this one. Typically, I'm a strong supporter of law enforcement. Also, normally, I would always root against an alligator.  You see, I used to have a recurring nightmare when I was a kid that alligators were chasing me. I brought this up recently to my mother, and she said, "Oh. That might have been because when you were three years old, we were at the zoo, and you were sitting up on the outer fence of the alligator exhibit, and you fell in."

Excuse me? That explains a lot.

Now, I wasn't actually in any danger because there was another, inner fence, but the psychological damage was done. I can't stand these rascals. But man, what a bummer for the alligator in the video at the bottom of this article.

All kidding aside, these officers did a great job. They don't appear to be animal control officers, and seeing how this isn't Florida, where people have to deal with gators all the time, I think these guys handled the situation pretty darn good!🐊✋💧
