Video Shows Horse in Cowboys Gear Hanging Out at a Texas Bar

You know you’re in Texas when there’s a horse at the bar and no one seems to mind. Oh yeah – and it’s decked out in Dallas Cowboys gear. 

As someone who grew up a fan of the Cowboys and was raised around actual cowboys, I can’t love the below video enough. I couldn’t help but chuckle when I first saw it.

My not-so-great history with horses

Even though, as much as I hate to admit it, I never could get comfortable on horseback. I got thrown from one when I was a kid and never got back on a horse again. I tend to be like that. As the old saying goes, a burnt child is afraid of fire.

But my family always had horses around, so I know a little bit about them. And one thing I know is that it is a very good horse in the video. You can’t just ride any old horse into a bar. If it’s one that is easily spooked, you could end up with a lawsuit on your hands. 

That said, something tells me that horse is a regular in that bar. Hell, I wouldn’t be surprised if the bartender knew its drink order by heart.
