All of us in Texas are pretty much tired of the heat aren't we?

It's been a long summer in the Lone Star State, and most of us are simply waiting for relief. So are our air conditioners, which have to have broken down at least once during these triple digit days. So fall temperatures are set to be welcomed with open arms.

But, one simple question remains. When will the seasons change in the Lone Star State, and we can enjoy walking outside again? Weather is notoriously hard to predict sometimes as we all know.

Well, we turn to the Farmer's Almanac to find the answers. Especially if there's a freeze coming soon to the state, which we'll need to prepare for.

First, as we look at the Almanac, it looks like fall in Texas will be warmer than one would expect. The prediction for the state is that the state will have temps that will be considered above average for the time of year. But the other main question now arises, will frosts happen anytime soon?

That is a bit tough to pinpoint, as different parts of the state will have different frost dates. Here's just a few predications for certain Texas cities:

Dallas, Texas: November 20, 2024

Austin, Texas: November 10, 2024

Temple, Texas: November 11, 2024

Houston, Texas: December 8, 2024

San Antonio, Texas: November 18, 2024

So, looks we'll have to deal with the Texas heat just a little bit longer. Ugh.
