Some in the state of Texas truly love seafood.

For some residents in the Lone Star State, seafood is simply the best food for them. With various types like shrimp or maybe even something more exotic, there's something for everyone. But getting a certain type of fish might be harder than one would expect.

Some fish might another fish's favorite snack while swimming. This is turn could might result in a shortage of a fish that one would like to dine on. To combat this, the fish that is eating other fish could become a delicacy itself by humans.

That exact situation has recently played out in Texas. One fish has become so annoying to the sea life in the Lone Star State that the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department is requesting one thing: for Texans to eat more of one fish.

According to Chron, the fish that is causing issues is none other than the Lionfish. But why exactly that fish? Well, the Lionfish is absolutely causing havoc with ecosystem.

Chron reports that the Lionfish is considered an invasive species, and looks to many different fish as food for themselves to enjoy. TWPD even said there's a certain recipe that could be used for lionfish!

So it's certainly possible that a diner in Texas could soon see Lionfish on the menu. Only time will tell of course!
