Is AT&T Stadium, Home Of The Dallas Cowboys, About To Go From Turf To Real Grass?
The injury to Aaron Rodgers this past Monday night at Met Life Stadium in New Jersey that pretty much ended his season this year in the NFL, has kicked off another round of TURF vs. Real Grass! Four plays into the game, Aaron Rodgers suffered an injury to his Achilles that some say was helped because of the TURF playing field.
And now, the NFLPA has called for all STADIUMS in the NFL to go to real grass.
Executive director of the NFLPA, Lloyd Howell, issued a statement Wednesday morning saying NFL players...
overwhelmingly prefer it and the data is clear that grass is simply safer than artificial turf.” Howell said the issue “has been near the top of the players’ list during my team visits and one I have raised with the NFL.
WILL AT&T STADIUM GO FROM TURF TO REAL GRASS?
Here in Texas, the most popular TURF stadium is of course the home to the Dallas Cowboys, AT&T Stadium. It has always been TURF but now that the demand of the NFLPA has come up, will it change to real grass? Again, only time will tell with this new push from the NFLPA.
