New Movie Filming in New Mexico With Big Cast
It looks like Ari Aster, director and current king of A24 films, has begun production on his next film. Some of the cast has already been announced, as well as the filming location. It looks like Aster has his eyes set to film on location in New Mexico!
Aster's new film is titled "Eddington" and is rumored to begin production next week in Albuquerque and Truth or Consequences.
Plot details are being kept under wraps, except for this small detail:
Eddington follows a small-town New Mexico sheriff with higher aspirations.
What we do know? The cast, that has been announced so far, is STACKED! "Eddington" will reunite Aster with Joaquin Phoenix, who just came out in Aster's "Beau is Afraid" this past year.
Also on the announced cast list are: Emma Stone, who just won her second academy award.
Also, Austin Butler, who you may remember gave a remarkable performance as Elvis.
And, of course, the internet's biggest crush, Pedro Pascal, who just won a Screen Actor's Guild award for his performance on the hit HBO series "The Last of Us".
Also on the cast list are Luke Grimes, Deirdre O’Connell, Micheal Ward and Clifton Collins Jr.
Fans have already begun posting updates on appearances from Aster and Phoenix in the Albuquerque area.
Of course, more information will become available as time goes on, but it's fun to start seeing updates from fans who are catching small glimpses of the cast and director!
In the meantime, if you need me, I'll be in New Mexico hoping to catch a small glimpse of Pedro Pascal!
