Miley Cyrus Was Not Pregnant Nor Did She Try to Trap Liam Hemsworth
The end of Miley Cyrus' engagement to Aussie actor Liam Hemsworth is the hottest topic in the gossip media, so it's not shocking that there's a story floating around that the 'Wrecking Ball' singer tried trap her fiance into marriage with a pregnancy.
Neither claim is true.
OK! published a cover story capitalizing on the Cyrus-Hemsworth split, claiming that she tried to ensnare her man as the relationship was crumbling by saying she was preggers.
The mag suggests that the 'Hunger Games' star wanted to split with his fiancée in the spring but a positive pregnancy test halted those plans. The false positive will get you every time!
An insider said, "Miley thought she was expecting and wanted to announce it to the world, even before she went to a doctor to verify the results." But Hemsworth asked her not to go public since "he was emotionally out of the romance for months by that point, though he was still sleeping with her."
That's why the mag claimed that Cyrus tried to trap him, promising to tell the world he left her at an inopportune time.
This sounds like an episode of 'All Miley Children' and totally un-Miley-like, since she is very careful about her image in the media and it's doubtful that she would just tweet that she was el prego before getting the word from a doc!
Her rep shot the story down, telling Gossip Cop "There is absolutely no truth to the story," calling it "a complete fabrication." Hemsworth's rep concurred.
Besides, if Miley was writing a breakup song that is likely about Liam in February, as she told Fashion in her cover story, wouldn't that negate the "facts" in this story?
