Actress Natalie Portman finally tied the knot Saturday night with her boyfriend of three years, dancer and choreographer Benjamin Millepied, in a Jewish ceremony at a private home in Big Sur, CA.

The pair met in 2009 on the set of ‘Black Swan,’ on which Millepied served as a choreographer. Within a year, they announced they were engaged and expecting their first child, and their son Aleph was born last summer.

Despite all her professional success, the Oscar-winning actress, 31, says family has always been a priority, adding, “It’s something which comes first, always makes sense, and compared to the happiness of a successful [personal] life, everything else is practically superficial.”

And for Portman, her wedded status will come with an extra perk: because her new husband is French, she has the option of taking on French citizenship herself.

“It would accomplish the Francophile dreams of my father and myself,” Portman recently said. “I lived in Paris when I was 12 and my father gave me the name Natalie as an homage to Gilbert Bécaud’s song ['Nathalie']. Everything in my life has drawn me towards a French family.”
