Pete Davidson was pulled over during a roadside drug bust.

TMZ reports that sometime last weekend, Davidson was driving in upstate New York—where he is currently filming his and rapper Machine Gun Kelly's upcoming movie, Big Time Adolescence—when cops pulled him over around 4 a.m.

The tabloid claims that the Syracuse officers "smelled weed" and, after a search of the car, arrested Davidson's passenger for felony possession of a controlled substance. He was also cited him for unlawful possession of weed.

Davidson passed a field sobriety test and was sent on his way.

It's unclear what the other drugs found in the vehicle were or why Davidson was pulled over in the first place. The identity of the passenger has not been released.

Davidson made headlines back in June when, during an appearance on The Late Show With Jimmy Fallon, the comedian and actor confirmed his engagement to pop star Ariana Grande, telling the host that their relationship is "so lit."

Grande's new album, Sweetener, includes a track named after Davidson. The album was released on August 17.
