Three-year-old Richardson, Texas girl Sherin Mathews is still missing after she was reportedly sent outside at 3 a.m. by her father as punishment for not finishing her milk.

According to Dallas News, the AMBER Alert was canceled by the Texas Department of Public Safety due to a lack of tips about the girl's disappearance.

Kevin Perlich with the Richardson Police Department told the outlet that her father, Wesley Mathews, allegedly made his daughter stand near a tree. The act was meant to punish the girl for not finishing her milk, Mr. Mathews said. When he went to check on her 15 minutes later, she was gone, he told police.

Mr. Mathews was arrested for Abandoning or Endangering Child. He's since been released on a $250,000 bond.

According to MissingKids.org, Mathews was wearing a pink shirt, black pajamas bottoms and pink flip flops when she went missing. She's 3'0", weighs 22 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. Mathews also has developmental issues and issues communicating.
