Shooting Leaves 3 Dead Near Auburn University Campus

Three people are dead and two others injured after a late-night shooting at an apartment complex near Auburn University in Alabama. 

WTVM reports the shooting happened at University Heights apartment complex Saturday night. AL.com is reporting two former Auburn football players, Ed Christian and Ladarious Phillips, were shot to death and one current player, Eric Mack is suffering from a gunshot wound.

A press conference has been called for 1 p.m. by the Auburn Police department.
