With the chill in the air, it's time to consider more than just warm drinks. Flu season is here, and it’s knocking on our doors.

The flu outbreak is rapidly spreading across East Texas, with Tyler, Longview, Lufkin, and Nacogdoches being the hardest hit areas.

Texas is now one of the hardest-hit states for canine influenza. Basically, canine influenza is the doggie version of human flu. Symptoms are very similar including fever, cough, and runny nose. The dog's appetite also will most likely diminish.
