Not understanding how jokes work, pop singer Katy Perry is none too happy about comedian and ex-husband Russell Brand making jokes about her and their former marriage. Even though, you know, that's how comedy works. And we have a feeling she won't like his most recent quip.

Katy Perry makes her debut as a Vogue cover girl in July, playing a high-fashion siren/farmer's daughter (we think). But in the accompanying interview, she talks about the loves of her life: ex-husband Russell Brand and on-and-off boyfriend John Mayer.

While Russell Brand is usually pretty genial and cordial, even when discussing his divorce from Katy Perry, he wasn’t so friendly when U.K. talk show host Graham Norton quizzed him on the split.

Russell Brand appeared on ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show’ today (May 17) in a pre-taped segment where he revealed that he still loves his soon-to-be-ex-wife Katy Perry, with whom he split in December of last year. He offered several positive sentiments about the ‘Part of Me’ singer and then hung out with Ellen’s favorite mini correspondents, Sophia Grace and Rosie.
