Winter is in its home stretch and skiers can now, once again, ski at the oldest ski resort in New Mexico.

Ok...before you go crazy and buy snowbird repellant or snowbird-proof your home. "Snowbirds" are those northern people looking for an escape from the snowy winter weather. Florida has always been a big destination for Snowbirds, but Texas is catching up.

If you want to play in the snow but stay within the border of Texas, these are the cities you need to bring your sled to.

You read that right! Snow is coming to Texas, so bundle up buttercup!

The long range forecast issued from the National Weather Service on December 13th, indicates that temperatures from 12/21-12/27 could be significantly BELOW normal. This means at least the possibility of a White Christmas in the area seems to be a bit higher.

There are so many fun winter activities. Most of them require snow. Unfortunately, there is not one single ski resort in Texas. That doesn't mean you can't enjoy one of the most fun winter sports in the world-snow tubing.
