The ‘X Factor‘ panel has been subject to a whole boatload of drama even before the ink on Britney Spears and Demi Lovato‘s contracts dried, and it’s showing no signs of stopping. Notorious curmudgeon Simon Cowell is going on the offensive, claiming Lovato and Spears are catty to goodlooking female hopefuls. Claws out!

Just when you didn’t think Demi Lovato could be any cuter, she went and dyed her hair pink — part of it, anyway. She debuted the new do at the Oakland, Calif. ‘X Factor‘ auditions to boisterous cheers.

After talking with Bobbi Kristina, Oprah Winfrey’s next big get is rapper 50 Cent and Paris Jackson, the daughter of the late pop icon Michael Jackson. The veteran talk show host will interview the two personalities on an upcoming episode of ‘Oprah’s Next Chapter.’

At this point, there are probably more question marks than musical notes when it comes to ‘Glee‘s somewhat re-inventive fourth season.  We do know that half the focus will move to New York City to follow Rachel Berry (Lea Michele), and presumably at least Santana (Naya Rivera), with the rest of the story taking place in good old Lima, Ohio.  So if that’s the case, what new faces might we see next

The episode tonight places the judges of ‘America’s Got Talent‘ in Austin, Texas. With festivals like SXSW and Fantastic Fest in this town, we figure there’s at least a few of the Austin townfolk who must be pretty talented. At least we hope so…

On tonight’s episode (May 31) of ‘Duets,’ the hilarious Robin Thicke and lovely Olivia Chisholm teamed up for ‘Where Is the Love?,’ a song Thicke said his wife, actress Paula Patton, sings around the house when they are play fighting. So the song has some personal meaning for him. It’s also a much-loved, well-known and butter smooth duet.

‘American Idol‘ runner-up Jessica Sanchez wants to branch out beyond pop music on her debut album, and she has her eye on a big-name potential collaborator — rap superstar Eminem.

Phillip Phillips was scheduled to have surgery today (May 29) but it was postponed when the ‘American Idol‘ Season 11 winner came down with a raging fever upon developing a sinus infection. Surgeons won’t operate under such conditions so it had to be rescheduled. Aw, poor Phillip. He’s in bad physical shape right now, despite the big win just under a week ago.

Yowza! Simon Cowell is throwing some shade at fellow singing competition shows in a big way. The ‘X Factor‘ honcho and judge allegedly is attempting to sabotage his competition at NBC, ‘The Voice.’
