Taylor Swift’s Latest 1989 Tour Guest Is A Shirtless Jason Derulo
Forget the spontaneous plugs to captive airplane passengers — Ciara could learn a thing or two about promo from Jason Derulo.
Not only did Taylor Swift enlist Jason for a surprise cameo during last night's (July 14) 1989 World Tour stop in Washington, D.C., but she followed up the energetic performance with a tweet that plugged his latest single "Cheyenne" to her millions of followers. Get that increasing chart position, Jason!
If you thought no one could out-do previous appearances from former child musician Nick Jonas and current teenager Lorde, you are about to be proven woefully wrong. Jason and Taylor, our new dream team, sang Jason's hit summer anthem "Want to Want Me," and with the increasing sharpness of his falsetto, so came the sudden absence of Jason's shirt. By the end of the three minute performance, he was soaked in sweat and bare-chested. Taylor displayed what was either utter delight or painful discomfort (one can never know the truth) when Jason began his unscripted stripping, and their interaction is truly a sight to behold.
Check out video of Taylor and Jason performing "Want to Want Me" from a fan blessed with nosebleed seats above. Let us know how acutely you feel the pain that comes with knowing your 1989 World Tour stop won't include a shirtless Jason Derulo. Or, if you were there, inquiring minds want to know -- was the performance as beautiful as it seems? Can you believe Taylor and Jason are both 25? It's not relevant at all, but celebrities always look so good, with their access to expensive La Mer products and sheep placenta facials.
