Home Away From Home 2020 Happening Christmas Day

The annual Home Away From Home event is happening this year hosted by the San Angelo Elks Lodge 1880

This event hosts the service men and women at Goodfellow Air Force Base who could not make it home for Christmas with a fun-filled day of dinner, entertainment, and gifts.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, they are unable to hold it at their small lodge this year, but the 1st Financial Pavilion has graciously been donated to them for use and the Concho Valley Transit has donated their time and transportation.

This event occurs on Christmas Day from 11am-5pm.

Charity funds are low this year due to the virus and they are seeking donations for gifts with a $25 value.

These gifts can be in the form of monetary donation, gift cards, or gender-neutral merchandise.

Which can be mailed or dropped off at 2121 S. Chadbourne (325)227-6920.

Deadline for donations is Christmas Eve at 6pm. We hope to make this a Christmas they never forget.
