Kristen Stewart, actress, and St. Vincent, Grammy-winning multi-instrumentalist, are dating. Well, either that, or they're two good friends who share a passion for casually perfect black mini skirts. It truly could be either! But a new report from Us Weekly claims they're now "very romantic" together.

Anyone with a passing familiarity with the gossip surrounding both women's love lives can understand why their potential It Couple status would make for a compelling story: St. Vincent, born Annie Clark, recently split with Suicide Squad's Cara Delevingne in September after a year and a half together. Meanwhile, as of last July, Stewart had confirmed her longtime on-off relationship with Alicia Cargile, departing from her typically tight-lipped statements on her rumored relationship and sexuality.

"I think also right now I’m just really in love with my girlfriend," Stewart had told Elle UK in a cover story for their September issue. "We’ve broken up a couple of times and gotten back together, and this time I was like, 'Finally, I can feel again.'"

Given that Stewart likely provided that quote to Elle UK sometime prior to July, it's possible she and Cargile have parted ways again since then; according to US Weekly, the two were last spotted together on August 27. And when Stewart attended the New York Film Festival screening of her new movie Certain Women on October 3, she brought another date instead — St. Vincent.

"They spent almost every day together after that," Us Weekly's anonymous source claims. In addition to Kristen's attendance at St. Vincent's October 9 concert in L.A., their alleged subsequent jaunts included a comedy show, a sushi meal and a stroll around New York City, which was captured by paparazzi around October 6. If you're some sort of body language expert, feel free to analyze photos of Kristen Stewart and St. Vincent together, strolling around in cute matchy-matchy outfits together.

"It's been very romantic," Us's source insists. "Kristen is always whispering closely in her ear and asking her opinion." Ah, whispered consultations, the very flowers of romance!(?)

New relationship, or just two friends spending restorative time together after respective rough breakups, like Cara's been doing with Taylor Swift? The evidence is highly inconclusive, though a/this "anonymous source" also confirmed it to Page Six. Only time, and more paparazzi-documented sightings, will tell.
