Mrs. Doubtfire the Musical Is Coming to Abilene
Broadway is headed to the Big Country as Mrs. Doubtfire, The New Musical Comedy takes the stage at the Abilene Auditorium (formerly the Civic Center Auditorium) the show begins December 9th. Tickets are on sale now, and fans of the hit movie, like me, are already practicing the infamous “helloooo!”

Broadway in the Big Country Mrs. Doubtfire
Nederlander National Markets, in partnership with the Abilene Auditorium, is bringing this international smash-hit comedy to town. Critics call the show “wonderful, heart-warming, and laugh-out-loud funny.”
Just like the Robin Williams classic, the story follows out-of-work actor Daniel Hillard, who after losing custody of his kids, invents a Scottish nanny alter-ego named Euphegenia Doubtfire. The disguise takes on a life of its own, teaching Daniel what it really means to be a father.
Why I Can’t Wait
I’ve been a Mrs. Doubtfire fan since the movie hit theaters. To this day, I still greet people with the Robin Williams salute “helloooooo!” and laugh every time I hear “Help is on the way, dear!” This show is more than just comedy; it’s about family, second chances, and love.
