Popular Family Resort To Open Second Texas Location In 2024
Great Wolf Lodge, a chain of indoor water park resorts, continues its Texas expansion with another location.
With locations spanning from coast to coast, including one open in Grapevine, TX, these lodges are renowned for their expansive water parks featuring thrilling slides, wave pools, lazy rivers, and interactive splash zones, providing endless fun for guests of all ages.
Great Wolf Lodge's second Texas location is opening to the public sooner than originally anticipated.
The company announced its incoming $200 million resort in Webster, TX just outside of Houston, located on a 27-acre site just east of the Gulf Freeway, is now set to open on Sept. 13 this year, a month earlier than was previously reported.
This will be Great Wolf Lodge's 22nd location in North America and will will feature an all-new design theme for its indoor water park, filled with immersive and interactive storytelling elements to enhance the overall water park experience.
In total, the water park will feature 13 slides, three pools, and two interactive water play zones.
The usual water park attractions Great Wolf Lodge visitors know and love will also be featured. But new to the Webster location will be the Texas Twirler, described as an "exhilarating" family raft adventure that can accommodate up to five riders.
The resort will also feature an outdoor pool and hot tub. Having stayed at the one in the Grapevine when it first opened up in the late 2000s, this place is perfect for young kids. but be prepared to spend some MONEY. Seriously.
