Heaven must be missing an angel.

Kristen Stewart is in talks to join Sony's cinematic Charlie's Angels reboot, Variety reports, citing "sources close to the project."

Stewart would play one of the Angels, though she's not the only actress currently being considered: Lupita Nyong'o is also being eyed by Sony.

Pitch Perfect 2 director Elizabeth Banks is set to direct the film, which is scheduled to release summer 2019.

The popular Charlie's Angels franchise, which launched with a television series in the late '70s, saw a successful action-comedy film adaptation starring Drew Barrymore, Cameron Diaz and Lucy Liu in 2000. A sequel, Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle, was released in 2003.

A short lived TV reboot was unveiled in 2011. It was cancelled after four episodes.
