Really? “Trump Lost” Billboards Show Up on Texas Highways
Like some people need a reminder. Or is it fake news?
A group called Republicans for Voting Rights has launched a billboard campaign placing billboards across the country stating "Trump Lost" and the state of Texas is right in the middle of the campaign.
According to the web site accountability.gop/trump-lost-billboard-campaign:
Republicans for Voting Rights is launching a quarter-million dollar billboard campaign across the country to call on state lawmakers to reject frivolous audits of the 2020 election results.
The billboard [...] will run in major markets in states where there’s discussion about an audit of the 2020 election, including Georgia, Florida, Texas, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Virginia, Wisconsin, and Arizona, as well as New York City’s Times Square.
If you peruse this web site, you are told their project was started in direct response to the January 6th, 2021 attack on the U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C. by Trump supporters who sought to overturn the results of the 2020 United States presidential election.
What may be lost on this group is that Texas won the state of Texas. I wonder if there will be another group that will place billboards next to these ones saying, "Trump Won Texas." Now that would be a hoot.
If you want to see the billboards and find exactly where they are in Texas and the other eight states, the Republican Accountability Project has posted the locations on their web site.
No doubt the riots at the Capitol were a sad day for our nation's history. Keep scrolling to check out images from that day and the chaos that took place and more below.
