The San Angelo Rodeo Association opened ticket sales for all performances of the 2021 schedule starting at 10 am this morning and it's no surprise to regular attendees of our San Angelo rodeo, tickets for the Cinch Shootout sold out within minutes. The finals or "Short Go" of the regular rodeo competition is held the night before and always sell out quickly as well.

The Cinch Chute-Out is always the final performance of the rodeo and has always been extremely popular since if was first held back in 2012. The Cinch Shootout features ten of the nations top cowboys featured in the events of Bull Riding, Saddle Bronc Riding, Bareback Riding, Calf Roping, Team Roping, Steer Wrestling and Women's Barrel Racing. This competition features the best of the best and for big prize money.

After the dust clears and the prize money awarded, Fans have an opportunity to meet and get autographs from their favorite competitors in the event!

Again, that will be the final performance of the rodeo and will be held on Saturday, April 24th at 7:30 p.m. I hope you were lucky enough to get tickets for it!

The San Angelo Rodeo, carnival, vendors, Bar-B-Que, Beer Barn and other attractions and activities are scheduled for April 9-24. Even though the livestock show was held on the original dates, the Premium Sale associated with the Junior Livestock Show will be held Saturday, April 24th.

The Rodeo Parade will take place on April 10th, the opening Saturday of the rodeo. Additionally, the Santa Fe Trail Ride, long-time event of the San Angelo Stock Show and Rodeo, will take place in the days immediately preceding the rodeo. The Championship Cook-Off will be held April 10th so get ready for all of the fun at the San Angelo Fairgrounds and Coliseum.
