Santa Sightings In San Angelo Ahead of Santa’s Santa Fe Arrival
Personally, I'm ready for the holiday season. It just seems like this year has been hard. With rising prices and other difficulties, we could all use a moment to reflect on simpler times. I think some of my fondest memories are of Christmas with my mom and dad.
I remember when I was very young, my parents bought me one of those video calls from Santa. It was exquisitely staged from the North Pole and I was delighted to speak with him.
Here in San Angelo, there have already been some scattered Santa sightings.
Devil Dogs Santa and Mrs. Claus were spotted downtown before the Veterans parade for Toys for Tots.
We can now report that Santa will officially arrive in San Angelo at the Railway Museum on December 10th. Santa and Mrs. Claus (Chamber of Commerce President Walt Koenig and wife MG Koenig) will arrive via train serenaded by local artist Rita Capuchina.
This year's Santa Fe Christmas at the Railway Museum features a whole day of activities from 10a-4 pm.

All day there will also be train rides for the kids at $5 per child, Christmas ornament painting, and food and craft vendors.
There will also be a special performance by Ballet Azteca Folklorico, Lakeview Chieffettes, and Fort Concho Choir.
Keep your eyes open for Santa sightings as the holiday season approaches and watch this space for Santa updates through the holiday season.
