Travis Scott Impersonator Staged Fake Photos of ‘Travis’ Cheating on Kylie Jenner
Remember earlier this week when suspicious photos allegedly of Travis Scott cheating on Kylie Jenner "leaked"? Travis adamantly denied the cheating rumors and Kylie had her man's back. Well, it turns out the photos were fake, all part of an elaborate prank. Wow.
Christian Adam, a YouTuber from the Bahamas, has come forward as the culprit of the staged photos. He claims he attempted the hoax as a "social experiment" to see how easy it would be to fool the Internet and media.
Christian says he was inspired by YouTubers Yes Theory tricking the entire world into thinking "Justin Bieber" didn't know how to eat a burrito back in October.
"Yup, that photo you've seen of Travis Scott allegedly cheaiting on his signifcant other, Kylie Jenner, was completely staged," Christian admits in a video posted to his YouTube page, breaking down how he and his friends set up and pulled off the prank. "The goal of this video is not to hurt anybody's relationship, but it's to see how gullible is the Internet," he says.
"I wanted to prove the point that most stories you see on the Internet [are] almost never true... The lie is always more entertaining and that entertaining story is most likely going to be the story you hear," Christian explains. He might have a point, but the Kardashian-Jenner family is not amused.
Kylie herself posted a screenshot of Christian's YouTube video to her Instagram Story, adding the caption: "Idk if this is really a social experiment to some people but you're messing with real people, real relationships, real family. I'm happy my relationship is strong because this is getting out of hand. The internet scares me sometimes for real."
Wednesday night (December 5), Kylie's sisters Kim Kardashian-West and Khloé Kardashian took to social media to blast the YouTube prankster. Kim tweeted, "this is absolutely disgusting... This is really damaging to relationships, families and is just so wrong!" while Khloé wrote, "This person should be so ashamed of themselves!" in her tweet.
Regardless of the strange "social experiment," Kylie and Travis seem to be happier than ever. Kylie and Travis have even been thinking of baby number two already, after giving birth to baby Stormi back in February.
