Habanero peppers are some of the spiciest foods on the planet, so of course people like to film themselves trying to eat them.
Though they're not the absolute hottest pepper you can try, they still measure 150,000-300,000 Scoville heat units. And since most people don't really know what that means, they figure the best way to learn how hot a particular pepper is, is to eat the darn thing. And in every case, the person finds out that it involves lots of sweating and gasping.
