This Orange man just doesn't give up, does he? Or is he confused?

Former President Donald Trump has asked Texas Governor Greg Abbott to add a bill to the current special Texas legislative session for an audit on the 2020 Texas election results.

In a letter published Thursday, Trump said, “Texans have big questions about the November 2020 Elections,” and time is running out to conduct an audit of the “2020 Presidential Election Scam” because paper ballots are kept for only 22 months after an election.

“Governor Abbott, we need a ‘Forensic Audit of the 2020 Election’ added to the call,” Trump wrote. “We’re quickly running out of time and it must be done this week.”

For one thing, I cannot believe Trump is still holding on to this. It's over. How long will he keep trying to overturn the 2020 presidential election?

The other thing, by the way, Trump won Texas! Does he want to overturn the results because he thinks Biden won the state? This doesn't make any sense and, in my opinion, would just be a waste of taxpayer money.

It's been nearly a year since the election. In that time, there has been no substantial evidence presented to back Trump's claims.

In states where the Republican made claims of fraud, more than 80 judges, some of whom he appointed, tossed out the allegations as utterly baseless. Trump’s own Justice Department said it had no evidence of widespread voter fraud. In Texas, a top election official called the 2020 election “smooth and secure.”

All I've heard are rumors and conjecture. Yet he still pushes the narrative that the election was rigged. I guess I have to give him credit for his determination, though.

So, tell us what you think? What are your thoughts, reactions, and opinions to Donald Trump asking Greg Abbott to audit the 2020 Texas election results? Let us know on Facebook or on our station app.
