Christmas at Old Fort Concho has been one of the biggest and best Holiday celebrations in San Angelo for many years. It was put on hold in 2020 because of the pandemic but it's back in 2021!

This is also Fort Concho's largest annual event and they are looking to make up for not being able to have it last year. Christmas at Old Fort Concho is held on the first full weekend of December, which this year will be Friday through Sunday, December 3rd - 5th.

Christmas at Old Fort Concho transforms the fort’s forty acres and twenty-four buildings into a winter wonderland and there is so much to see and do. Outdoors you can stop by and visit numerous campsites with hundreds of  re-enactors and people dressed in period who bring the 1800s to life. Troops on the Parade Ground will drill, ride, and shoot their weapons. The artillery demonstrations are also awesome to check out with cannon fire and more!

If you're looking to shop you will certainly enjoy plenty of merchants and artisans from across Texas and the Southwest offering many great items for sale in the fort's numerous buildings and also outside.

Come hungry and enjoy the Food Court offering various food options.

There is so much more to see like strolling musicians, staged musical activities,  Children’s Areas that provide many crafts and activities free for kids and more.

This year marks Christmas at Old Fort Concho's 40th Anniversary!
